Job Summary

Responsible for case management activities for residents residing LSB Women’s Shelter with the primary goals of maintaining housing and mainstream benefits along with increasing income and self‑sufficiency. Case management includes providing information and referrals, life‑skills training, and long‑term goal planning with residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct case management sessions.
• Assess residents’ needs.
• Identify and match resources to those needs.
• Coordinate with residents to connect them with services.
• Document services provided.
• Ensure services are coordinated with all relevant departments and align with the mission of Presbyterian Night Shelter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field (required).
• Experience working with diverse and/or difficult populations (desired).
• Experience working with the homeless population (preferred).
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness (preferred).
• Current knowledge of the local network of services (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (required).
• Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance (required).

Pay

$21.15 per hour; full‑time position with benefits.
