Lovelace Medical Group is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join a four-surgeon team at the Heart Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and excellent quality of life within a multi-specialty practice.

About the role

• Full-time employment (1.0 FTE) with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Join a team of 39 physicians, 23 advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Onsite X-ray and lab facilities
• Access to Da Vinci V robotic system and Lung Cancer Program
• Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Daily patient load: 14–16
• Rotating call coverage every fourth day
• Smart technology: Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding

Requirements

• ABTS certification in thoracic surgery
• Both experienced and graduating thoracic surgeons are encouraged to apply
