Key Responsibilities
- Training and Learning: Participate in structured training sessions to develop diagnostic and repair skills on a wide range of John Deere equipment, including tractors, harvesters, loaders, excavators, and mowers. This includes a mix of classroom, lab, and hands-on learning opportunities.
- Mentorship: Work alongside experienced technicians who will provide guidance and support as you conduct equipment inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Hands-On Repairs: Assist in performing repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision, following technical manuals and dealership procedures.
- Customer Interaction: Learn to communicate effectively with customers and team members about repair processes and timelines, ensuring a positive service experience.
- Documentation: Help document all service and repair activities, including parts usage and diagnostic findings, using dealership management systems.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Motivation: A strong desire to learn and develop skills in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry.
- Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is a plus, but not required
- Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude
- Valid driver’s license (or willingness to obtain) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 pounds) as needed
