JOB PROFILE = Digital Print Operator

Responsibilities

• Utilize software solutions that relate to pre-press technology for digital reproduction
• Interact with the team to create solutions relative to the customer’s expectations
• Strategic planning and organization of projects within the production line
• File management and maintenance of accurate production logs
• Ensure quality of printed materials by trouble shooting projects before printing
• Create clipping paths, photo manipulation, photo compositing, and color correction
• Customer service, phone, email, and web order processing

• Excellent project and time management skills
• Creativity and problem solving abilities
• A good eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to accurately discern colors
• Expert experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and QuarkPress
• Proficient in both MAC & PC
• 1-2 years digital print experience preferred
• 4 year creative degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
