About the role

Responsible for leading the mechanical design engineering team, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative solutions for complex mechanical systems. Manage projects from concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical design engineering team in the development and execution of projects.
  • Oversee the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide career development guidance to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and materials.
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
