Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administrators and teachers to provide pre-vocational training and job coaching/training for special education students
• Transport students to worksites and supervise and assist them at worksites
• Track and report student progress
• Ensure safety of all students in transit to and at work sites
• Support students in developing increased travel skills
• Perform task analysis of jobs and make accommodations as necessary
• Demonstrate proper job skills required at work sites and monitor daily performance
• Evaluate student performance at work site and report student progress data as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (post-secondary education preferred)
• Experience working with students
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to apply sound judgment to resolve conflicts and solve problems
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the school community
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Pay

Competitive salary of $24.22 per hour for 5.5 hours per day over 10 months per year.
