Laura Yaffe has been appointed as Associate Director of Philanthropy, Translation and Innovation for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).

Responsibilities

• Lead the fundraising for the Translation and Innovation pillar of CRUK’s £400m More Research, Less Cancer campaign.
• Deliver the fundraising strategy aimed to maximize the potential of technologies, talent, and knowledge to drive translation and innovation in cancer research, with a focus on children and young people's cancer research.

Requirements

Laura brings extensive experience in major and principal giving across the higher education and charity sectors.

Qualifications

• Brought extensive experience in major and principal giving across the higher education and charity sectors.
• Joined Cancer Research UK from WWF-UK where she was Head of Philanthropy and Principal Gifts.
• Previously held senior fundraising roles at institutions including the University of Melbourne, Monash University, and King’s College London.

Skills

• Experience in major and principal giving.
• Expertise in driving translation and innovation in cancer research.
• Focus on children and young people's cancer research.
