Job Description

We are seeking a Jira/Atlassian Administrator for a sustainment role. This position focuses on development and configuration for project modifications, security, and workflow customizations for lifecycle management tools. The role involves developing technical strategies, standards, and roadmaps while also supporting user account maintenance.

  • Serve as a global administrator for Atlassian and Jira environments.
  • Create and maintain governance plans for Jira and Confluence.
  • Implement system changes and administer access following security guidelines and Atlassian best practices.
  • Design, implement, and build complex, reusable workflows and schemes.
  • Manage the migration of third-party data to on-premise and cloud-based Atlassian environments.
  • Collaborate with the lead architect to provide scalable solutions that enhance Atlassian capabilities.
  • Leverage Atlassian APIs and smart values for automation, including project creation and Tempo data management.
  • Support configuration management and related processes.

Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Jira and the Atlassian suite.
  • Experience with scripting, account management, and link validation.
  • Familiarity with Java and Groovy scripting.

Qualifications

Must possess a Security+ certification.
