About the Role
We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach to lead children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. This position is ideal for someone interested in pursuing early childhood education or child development. Coaches work within afterschool hours from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and can work 5-20 classes per week.
Our coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success, a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress-free, and positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success. Coaching is a continuous journey, and all coaches are open to feedback, attend regular trainings, and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead coach in delivering a dynamic and inspiring class, ensuring each child is engaged and challenged while fostering a passion for movement and healthy habits.
- Demonstrate effective and concise communication by reporting any issues to the office and offering appropriate solutions.
- Arrive for class 15 minutes before the start time to ensure punctuality.
- Proficiently set up and dismantle equipment.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children, offering personalized guidance and support.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or currently learning about coaching, child development, or education.
- Expressive, charismatic, and nurturing personality.
- Responsible, dedicated, and confident with a strong work ethic.
- Energetic with a high level of enthusiasm.
- Ability to effectively manage groups of both children and adults.
- Must have working availability on weekdays from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Pay
Compensation starts at $20.00/hour for Coach positions and can increase up to $45.00/hour.
