JC Ranch

JC Ranch is located in north central Kansas in the town of Stockton. We are mainly a 175 Angus cow operation, with the only farming being some hay and forage production. All cows are artificially inseminated every year on pasture. We background our calves until January and keep back our own heifers for replacements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ranch operations including cattle management and artificial insemination on pasture
• Manage backgrounding of calves until January
• Select and retain replacement heifers
• Supervise hay and forage production

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in ranch or cattle operations
