About the Role

Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Material Program Management (MPM) for the Javelin Joint Venture Team in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires basic knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and practical experience in project and material management. You will develop expertise in manufacturing, MRP, and business acumen within a matrixed organization while leading projects, budgeting, financial management, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Execute material strategies to support program objectives.
  • Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT reviews, including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
  • Implement a forward-looking procurement approach, proactively identifying gaps and driving throughput of product deliveries.
  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and program responsibilities; manage mitigation plans.
  • Manage budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.
  • Oversee supplier Can-Build metrics and health assessments.
  • Support prime proposals and program start-up, including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Material Product Plans (MPP).
  • Support Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and evaluate supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Flow customer and product requirements to suppliers; conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  • Travel as required.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with forecasting and financial acumen.
  • Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR).
  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders.
  • Proven success in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
  • Project management experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
