Material Program Manager - Tucson, AZ
About the role
Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) within the Raytheon SMGBAD Product Line execution team in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Engage with IPT leadership on material strategy execution.
- Communicate and translate customer and product requirements to suppliers.
- Celebrate supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
- Review SCM metrics.
- Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT Reviews including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
- Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities.
- Proactively manage mitigation plans.
- Manage budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.
- Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP).
Qualifications
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience working with MRP systems such as SAP, PRISM, and/or KINAXIS.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.
- Last full background investigation within the past 6 years.
- Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
- Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management.
- Must be able to succeed in a high stress, fast paced development environment.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
