Sr. Materials Program Manager
About the role
The Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for materials and manufacturing readiness for NPI requirements, interacting with suppliers and internal core teams to manage critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability. The objective is to ensure supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support development products are properly and timely completed, enabling Time to Market, Cost entitlement, and Supply base capability.
Bloom Energy is working to make clean, reliable energy affordable globally through its Energy Server, which delivers highly reliable and resilient, always-on electric power ideal for microgrid applications. Customers include manufacturing, data centers, healthcare, retail, and colleges.
Responsibilities
- Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development.
- Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements.
- Own new products and ensure materials readiness, availability, and visibility.
- Ensure manufacturing readiness, including DFM feedback, NPI build planning, and system readiness.
- Interact with supply partners and internal core teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) on new product schedules and deliverables.
- Track engineering and development builds, as well as component cost.
- Handle critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability management.
- Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates at weekly new product Program reviews.
- Ensure the logistical flow of materials to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support through a deep understanding of commodity terms.
- Facilitate new product handoff to the operations team.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8+ years of professional experience required.
- Professional experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management.
- International experience and Mandarin, Japanese, or Vietnamese language skills a plus.

Pay
$155,800.00 - $224,200.00
