Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, high performance user interfaces using React and TypeScript for financial services applications.
- Implement modern frontend patterns including reusable component libraries, advanced hooks, and scalable state management solutions.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and contribute light Java backend work as needed on the Jersey City role.
- Deploy frontend assets and support cloud native workflows on AWS.
- Write clean, testable, well documented code and participate in thorough code reviews and quality gates.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, security, and compliance standards required for financial applications are met.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams in Agile delivery cycles.
- Mentor junior frontend developers and drive frontend best practices across the team (especially on the Plano role).
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production UI issues with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with strong recent focus on React and TypeScript.
- Proven production experience building and shipping complex React applications in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of component architecture, state management patterns, and frontend performance optimization.
- Solid experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong Git workflow and CI/CD familiarity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite in a collaborative Agile team.
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement.
