Java Developer

This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, NY. Starting at $70/hour.

About the role

Our client is seeking a Java Developer to support internal application development focused on product pricing and data integration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal applications supporting product pricing workflows and data integration
• Build and enhance back-end services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and manage SQL databases to support application data needs
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal integrations
• Integrate cloud-based solutions, leveraging AWS services where applicable
• Collaborate with the Development team on architecture, code reviews, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the pricing platform

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a Java Developer or similar back-end role
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Hands-on experience with API development (REST)
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Experience with data integration patterns and workflows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
