Java Software Developer, Mid-Level TS/SCI with Poly REQUIRED

About the role

CGI Federal is seeking a mid-level Java Software Developer for an exciting opportunity reshaping a mission critical system within our Intel Community. This position is located in our Arlington office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provides Java coding in support of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for SAP/Sybase database and support programs and processes to load update.
• Creates and maintains scripts, stored procedures, and other program logic to create, update, and delete data.
• Designs and implements schema changes, manage indexes, and alters data objects to optimize performance.
• Configures ingest data management components in the cloud platform, such as Apache Kafka, NiFi, FTP, or API gateway.
• Communicates with data owners and conducts research/analysis on data sets to prepare ingest strategies based upon data structure, size, frequency, and other sharing requirements.
• Architects integration solutions to synchronize business data between multiple endpoints.
• Develops business rules that will be implemented in the services layer.

Requirements

• Degree: Bachelors
• Experience: 2-5 years experience using Java, JavaScript, and other languages that allow for the creation of API-based software; familiar with the Agile process and can create efficient, well-designed software products.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
