Software Developer (Java) - TS/SCI w/Poly
About the role
Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Software Developer at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities
- Apply the latest technology to develop and maintain software systems.
- Develop and integrate microservices using gRPC/REST.
- Deploy and manage micro/macro services in NodeJS or JBoss.
- Manage communication endpoints in gRPC or REST.
- Manage REST based service level integration, API negotiation, threading and load balancing.
- Implement ETL concepts and engines to decouple solutions.
- Create and maintain orchestration templates, modify templates from unclassified teams into classified space.
- Work with GraphDB, SQL and NoSQL data models and visualize/query data.
- Develop and maintain large applications in React/Redux, rxJS, Reactive Streams.
- Debug and troubleshoot applications in customer space.
- Leverage messaging engines and HA clusters like Kafka streams/KsqlDB.
- Manage scalability of deployed software products using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Develop and deploy containers, manage container orchestration.
Requirements
- Experienced in Java (AOP, IOC), JavaScript, React/Redux, AngularJS, SQL, NoSQL, GraphC++, C++.
- Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering, a related specialized area or field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent 9 years job-related experience.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
