Java Full Stack Tech Lead (FTE / Hybrid / Onsite Interview Preferred)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position requires a foundation of software development knowledge, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment. You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be a strong 'utility' type programmer with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel.

Design, develop and maintain code based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process
Produce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensure the functionality matches the requirements
Analyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle, coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members
Provide technical support to project team members and respond to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs
Interact with architects, technical leads, team members and project managers as required to address technical and schedule issues. Suggest and implement process improvements for estimating development and testing processes
Worked with streaming technologies such as Kafka
Worked on UI technologies such as Angular
Demonstrated a commitment to quality, writing unit tests with Junit and Mockito
Proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of Java applications and Microservices
A desire to continue to learn and pick up new technologies and skills

Basic Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or applicable programming area of study
• 8+ years prior work experience working with Database access methods and SQL constructs
• 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring MVC and/or Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience in Archival and Purging of Data
• 3+ years of experience with integration with Job schedulers
• 3+ years of experience with Build & Deployment tools such as Maven, GIT
• 3+ years of experience in Leading teams

Basic Qualifications - Additional

• Experience with container-based deployments such as Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, Vagrant is a plus
• Experience with any of the following – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux/UNIX Shell Programming, Python is a plus
• Experience within Financial Services industry including banking, wealth management

Pay and Benefits

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800 to $145,200. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
