Lead Java Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid)

About the Role

Location: Irving, TX. Hybrid work model requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of assigned stories using Java / Spring Boot
• Unit and integration testing using JUnit
• Work with DevOps tools and CI/CD software
• Follow Agile methodology
• Use Git with branch and release management
• Develop and integrate with Azure or AWS Cloud Platform

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
• At least 5 years of experience developing APIs with GraphQL or REST
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud)
• End-to-end design and implementation of microservices
• Good understanding of containerized applications
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Rancher)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito or JUnit
• Integration experience with Ping Federation & Apigee

Nice to Have

• Cloud experience using Azure
• Experience with SQL Server and Cassandra Databases or similar
• Experience creating UML diagrams with Visio or draw.io
• React UI experience

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $135K depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
