Senior Java Full Stack Lead/ Developer(FTE/Jersey City, NJ) Hybrid (In Person Interview Required)

About the Role

This is a full-time, hybrid Senior Java Full Stack Lead/Developer position based in Jersey City, NJ. An in-person interview is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) and ensure strong data modeling.
• Utilize Git for version control and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate in a distributed (onsite/offshore) team environment.
• Demonstrate proactive ownership, accountability, and problem-solving in a financial services context.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, JSP, Spring Boot, and any RDBMS.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to security best practices in BFSI.
• Experience with API gateways and performance optimization.
