Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories, incorporating new functionality into various software applications.
- Develop custom data processing functions and applications, leveraging data libraries in languages such as Python.
- Interface with numerous front-end frameworks to display and interact with data in various formats.
- Containerize Java and Python microservices and deploy them to an AWS cloud environment.
- Develop and/or integrate with Infrastructure as Code DevOps tools to support cloud orchestration of software components.
- Leverage AWS best practices to optimize code for cloud deployment with a strong focus on cost-conscious development and deployment strategies.
- Develop web APIs to interface with cloud applications and databases as part of cloud-native software applications.
- Work effectively as part of an Agile team to deliver software iteratively.
- Utilize open-source Python libraries and packages to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
- Build automated testing frameworks and integrate security scanning into the CI/CD pipeline.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with:
- Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required.
- Java Spring Boot
- NiFi Workflows and clusters
- Python Regex & Parsing
- Data Engineering & ETL
- AWS (Lambdas, EC2, EKS, RDS)
- Developing software within Agile methodologies
