We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients in India and are looking for experienced professionals to join a fully remote engagement. Job Summary On behalf of our US-based client in the Logistics & Supply Chain Technology sector, we are seeking a Java Developer to support the development and maintenance of Java/J2EE application systems. The role involves designing and building reliable, scalable, and high-performing enterprise systems, with a strong emphasis on clean, object-oriented code. It is a remote role and can be offered as full-time, part-time, and contractual engagement models. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java, J2EE application systemsDesign and build reliable, scalable, and high-performing enterprise systems, efficiently and to a high standardWrite quality, object-oriented code using JavaWork collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment Required Skills Hands-on understanding of object-oriented design principles, algorithm design, and efficient problem-solving techniques.Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesFast learner, flexible, and able to work well within a cross-functional team environmentGood knowledge of Core Java conceptsExperience in at least three of the following: Spring, Ant, Maven, Hibernate, Ajax, JMS, Web Services, JBoss, and Apache Tomcat AI Experience Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for faster development and debugging is a plusInterest in applying AI-assisted tools for code review, test generation, or documentation Managerial Experience As an individual contributor, you will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams, adopting collaboration and contributing to successful project delivery. Operational Experience Experience maintaining and supporting existing Java/J2EE application systemsFamiliarity with build and dependency management tools such as Ant and MavenExposure to application server environments such as JBoss and Apache Tomcat Qualifications B.Tech from a premier institute (IITs, RECs/NITs, BITS, or equivalent preferred)Minimum of 1–5 years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE development, with hands-on expertise in building scalable and enterprise-grade applications.Experience working successfully in remote, distributed teams with the ability to independently manage priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
