Mission
The team is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join their Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) domain focusing on Payments, Real-Time Money Movement, and Payment Rails. The new payment platform is currently under development, and three teams are actively working on it.
About the Role
This position is a contract to hire opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, working 4 days a week with the option to work onsite. W2 only.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Work with AWS Cloud services including AWS Lambda, ECS, and AWS SDK
- Implement and manage Kafka for message processing
- Design and implement SQL databases for data storage
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
- Build and test REST APIs using unit testing frameworks
- Support production environments and ensure high availability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity
Requirements
- Java proficiency
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Experience with AWS Cloud services
- Experience with Kafka messaging system
- SQL database management skills
- System design and architecture experience
- REST API development and testing
- Production support and monitoring
- CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Application monitoring techniques
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
