Mission

The team is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join their Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) domain focusing on Payments, Real-Time Money Movement, and Payment Rails. The new payment platform is currently under development, and three teams are actively working on it.

About the Role

This position is a contract to hire opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, working 4 days a week with the option to work onsite. W2 only.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Work with AWS Cloud services including AWS Lambda, ECS, and AWS SDK
• Implement and manage Kafka for message processing
• Design and implement SQL databases for data storage
• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
• Build and test REST APIs using unit testing frameworks
• Support production environments and ensure high availability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity

Requirements

• Java proficiency
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS Cloud services
• Experience with Kafka messaging system
• SQL database management skills
• System design and architecture experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
