Java Developer
Our client is seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the modernization and development of enterprise applications within a remote capacity.
Responsibilities
- Refactor business logic and database I/O Java code from servlets implementing complete MVC to a service‑oriented architecture.
- Develop Java code for service‑oriented applications using JSON, REST, Spring, and CXF.
- Create reusable business services and components following SOA and MVC design principles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, service integration, database, and performance issues.
- Use Maven and mock class implementations to support unit testing and instrument tested code paths.
- Perform automated security analysis of Java code.
- Support quality assurance and application testing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Java development in enterprise environments.
- Experience with REST, Spring, CXF, and JSON.
- Familiarity with Maven, unit testing, and mock class implementations.
- Knowledge of service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and MVC design principles.
- Experience with Oracle Database.
- Automated Java security analysis experience.
- Work authorization for W‑2 employment.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $50‑$70.
Schedule
Remote role limited to EST and CST time zones.
