Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and cloud technologies
• Implement microservices architecture and develop RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD automation and deployment workflows
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud platforms
• Apply security best practices to protect applications and data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and security
• Work closely with architects, product managers, and developers to deliver high‑quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability

Education and Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Secret Clearance
• 5–8 years of experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with enterprise‑scale applications on AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Background in DevSecOps environments
• Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization
• Previous consulting experience

Working Conditions

Onsite in Rosslyn, VA twice a week.
