Responsibilities
- Implement new features, ensuring alignment with best practices, rigorous internal standards, and project goals.
- Write well-designed, clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code using the Springboot framework.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze and investigate software solution problems, meticulously documenting findings.
- Perform software maintenance and correct identified defects.
- Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and providing essential technical guidance.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality deliverables.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, coupled with 4+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and related frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and front-end/back-end integration (4+ years).
- Proficiency in modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test automation (4+ years).
- Experience with writing queries and developing monitoring dashboards within a logging and monitoring platform (3+ years).
- Demonstrated experience with TDD practices and writing integration tests in Cucumber (4+ years).
- Practical experience working with document-oriented and SQL Databases (2+ years).
- Experience developing Avro schemas for event streaming platforms (2+ years).
- In-depth experience in Agile methodologies and tools (4+ years).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and a passion for resolving technical challenges.
- Proven leadership skills, capable of guiding and inspiring teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across team boundaries.
