Janitorial Supervisor, Part Time- 2nd Shift

Supervises janitorial staff on the 2nd shift, ensuring contracted services are delivered to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate employees within the shift and assigned buildings in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Assist in managing overall project activities and supervise the project crew.
• Coordinate services for assigned buildings to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain and monitor work schedules, including preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets.
• Establish and maintain work performance standards.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment, including key controls.
• Perform snow removal services.
• Resolve on-site service delivery problems.
• Participate in ongoing management, technical skills development, and safety training programs, including the safety site committee.
• Conduct orientation for new employees and develop employees’ skills and abilities.
• Handle conference room setups and internal moves as needed.
• Maintain effective customer relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Motivated and proactive individual.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities (Account Management)

• Assist in managing the site account, including work-scheduling of all shift personnel.
• Establish work standards in conjunction with the Manager.
• Conduct site evaluations and audits.
• Oversee inventory and equipment usage, budget control, and employee evaluations.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Provide orientation and safety training for personnel.
• Manage customer relations, payroll (time sheets, check distribution), and special projects as requested.

Pay

$16.58 – $19.50 per hour. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicability of collective bargaining agreements. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
