Responsibilities
- Aid in event setups and breakdowns, including moving furniture.
- Perform routine and occasional deep cleaning projects for classrooms, bathrooms, dining rooms, and other buildings.
- Handle scheduled turnovers and cleaning tasks.
- Communicate inventory and equipment status to the Hospitality Services Manager.
- Assist with campus security and nightly lock-up of buildings.
- Provide evening emergency assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in professional janitor work in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, twist, turn, kneel, stoop, climb ladders and stairs.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and ability to obtain necessary licenses for system or vehicle operation.

Benefits
This position is eligible to receive Sick & Safe leave with a maximum annual accrual of 40 hours.
