About the role
Aid the maintenance technician with daily janitorial tasks during the day camp season. Duties include:
- Daily wipe down chairs and tables in fellowship hall
- Daily sweep and mop fellowship hall and classroom floors
- Daily dust mop gym floor
- Daily clean bathrooms in Fellowship Hall and restock
- Remove trash and take to dumpster
- Assist with setting up rooms for day camp as needed
- Assist with yard maintenance including cleaning up debris, trash pick-up, and weeding front landscaping
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or High School Equivalency diploma
- Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires the following clearances and background checks:
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment
- Must understand and support the Mission of The Salvation Army
