Janitor - 1st Shift

About the role

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a 1st Shift Janitor to join our logistics team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our restrooms, offices, and common areas clean and well-maintained during the 1st Shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean and replenish supplies for office & logistics area restrooms and locker rooms throughout the shift.
• Fill paper and soap dispensers.
• Empty garbage cans from various locations within the facility.
• Collect recyclable cans, paper, and glass.
• Clean common areas as needed.
• Clean refrigerators as needed.
• Vacuum rugs throughout the facility.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
• Report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and meet required deadlines.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and squat regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to commit to working weekdays without issue.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Gastonia, NC location.
