A Janitor will work under moderate supervision, cleans and cares for production areas, office areas, washrooms, corridors, and other plant areas and assists in moving or placement of equipment and seating in such areas. This position is an onsite role and is part of a collective bargaining agreement; hired applicants will be represented by a union.
Responsibilities
- Work to verbal and written instructions
- Use a variety of Raytheon‑approved cleaning materials, solutions, and equipment to perform cleaning operations: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dry and wet mopping, stripping floors to remove dirt, old wax, grease, and oil
- Select appropriate cleaning solutions
- Wax, treat, buff and polish floors
- Wash surfaces including glass partitions, painted surfaces, windows, blinds, walls, handrails, elevators, water fountains
