About the role

The high school assistant coach is responsible for working with the head coach.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of respective coaching duties as assigned by the head coach
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach
• Serve as a positive influence to the student athletes
• Ensure the safety of the student athletes and report injuries to appropriate staff
• All other duties, within reason, assigned by the head coach
