Jacksonville Icemen Game Presentation Internship 2026-2027 Season

Jacksonville, FL – Unpaid Internship for the 2026-27 season (September 2026 – April 2027 or completion of Playoffs).

About the role

The Game Presentation Intern will work closely with the Game Presentation and Game Operations teams to enhance the in-game fan experience, bringing professional ECHL hockey games to life. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a portfolio in sports media, live-game production, fan experience, and video production.

Responsibilities

• DJ the game using a provided game script and cues from the game producer.
• Operate video board graphics before, during, and after games.
• Operate venue lights before, during, and after games.
• Operate a camera that streams to FloHockey and the video board.
• Shadow the game producer, technical director, and replay operator.
• Attend pre-game production meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Media, Broadcasting, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Video Production, or a related field.
• Housing and transportation in Jacksonville or surrounding area.
• Availability to work home games and designated office hours.

Qualifications

• Interest/experience in live sports, game operations, and/or broadcasting.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities.
• Familiarity or ability to read a game script.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.

Compensation

This is a non-paid internship. School credit may be earned if applicable.
