Supports and Maintains ITS Systems
- Configures and troubleshoots equipment failures.
- Replaces defective parts and routes cables and wiring.
- Cable management of ITS cabinets and gantries.
- Documents work through the ticketing system.
- Responds to emails and phone calls for support.
- Performs preventive and proactive maintenance.
- Inspects, tests, and services equipment.
- Ensures proper system operations and reduces downtime.
Installation and Troubleshooting
- Install various equipment (up to 100ft in air).
- Install antennas, CCTV cameras, Wavetronix devices, and Connected Vehicle equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment using various software applications.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting for quick fixes or device replacements.
- Use low voltage devices for minimal electrical work.
- Terminate cables and connections such as Cat-5, Cat-6, Coax, and unique wires.
- Operate a Bucket Truck at various heights up to 100ft.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Six (6) months to one (1) year of education or training beyond a HS diploma.
- Up to 1 year of experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Possess a Class “B” CDL or ability to obtain within 2 years.
- Ability to operate bucket truck controls at various heights.
- Load/unload equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Preferred: Video Management Certificate, Axis or Bosch Certified.
