About the role
Support the service group and sales staff by performing startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products, including Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFDs, AHUs, RTUs, and chillers.
Responsibilities
- Startup, commissioning, and servicing of Daikin VRV systems.
- HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit.
- Startup and commissioning of HVAC products from Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers.
- Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling.
- Prioritize safety and work in a safe manner.
- Assist with required start-up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
- Operate a company vehicle safely (clean driving record required).
- Work schedule includes Monday through Friday with flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HVAC experience.
- Certification from an accredited HVAC Trade School or Journeyman card from an approved apprenticeship.
- Washington State L&I O6A Journeyman Electrical license.
- EPA 608 Universal License.
- OSHA 30 (desired).
- CPR certification.
- Self-motivated with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Team player with mentoring abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Computer skills for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs/tools.
- Ability to lift over 75 pounds.
- Willingness to work in extreme conditions, including inside/outside, on lifts, and ladders.

Pay
$66.41/hour, subject to UA 32 pay schedule.
