PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- PMO System Administration: Assist with Smartsheet and other PMO tool administration, including user access management, setting up project templates, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Requirements Documentation: Collaborate with project teams to capture business and technical requirements, translating them into clear documentation for project use.
- Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing PMO processes, suggesting enhancements, and helping implement approved changes.
- Dashboard and Reporting Support: Assist in developing dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into project statuses, budget tracking, and other key PMO metrics.
- Meeting Support: Attend project meetings, prepare meeting notes, track action items, and follow up with team members on assigned tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with the Project Documentation auditing processes and support the team in the implementation and tracking of quality control processes across the project lifecycle
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Current student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Basic knowledge of project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and any experience with documentation or data management is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), or cloud technologies is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing PMI-PMP or PMI ACP Certifications
