IT Internship
Job Summary
The IT intern will assist the IT team in a variety of tasks spanning end user support, backend testing, front end development, and department administration.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Interact with end users and gather information about issues and use cases.
- Aid in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Perform testing on a variety of systems.
- Update documentation for end users, technicians, and administrators.
- Liaison with Purchasing.
Required Education and Experience
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress or recent graduates within one year of successfully completing a bachelor’s or master’s program.
- Must be verified as part of the background check process.
- Experience with using web based and PC base software tools and systems.
- Understanding of PC architectures, networking concepts, computer operating systems, and how to configure them.
- IT certifications, such as A+, are recommended.
- Applicants with a Software development background will also be considered.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Good working knowledge of computer and networking technology.
- Ability to use original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
- Ability to write technical reports and contribute to presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Must show initiative and motivation, and have the ability to act independently to resolve technical issues.
