IT, Technical Analyst

About the Role

Castle Biosciences is growing and looking to hire an IT, Technical Analyst working from the Pittsburgh, PA office location with a start date on or before September 16, 2026.

Responsibilities

• First line of support for users who need IT assistance, completing or escalating requests
• Handle most tasks for IT onboarding of new employees, with laptop deployments, equipment ordering, and technical training
• Address help desk tickets for hardware and software issues, assisting users with patience
• Prepare new hires and facilitate a positive onboarding process by preparing their laptops, ordering their equipment, and providing basic technical training
• Support technical projects such as infrastructure improvements and software changes
• Directly support lab environments and instruments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, related field, or related experience in lieu of education
• Intermediate understanding of various computer software and hardware
• Entry level PowerShell skills with focus on MSFT Active Directory and Office365
• Strong people skills

Schedule

• Onsite support from 5am to 1:30pm to support the lab's morning shift
• Full-time position, in office Monday-Friday, working from the Pittsburgh, PA office
• Rotating On-Call schedule
