Description Job Overview: (Shift 3PM - 11:30PM subject to change based on business needs) The IT Technician I assists other IT team members in providing technical and end user support on the following application systems: Gaming, Point of Sale, Property Management, Financial Applications, and other installed application systems. Maintain a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows XP/7, and other applications as designated. Make help desk calls to customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Answers technical questions, resolve user complaints, research issues, assist the IT Department with the maintenance of all application systems hardware and softwareMaintains security and back-up procedures for all application systemsAssists with software and hardware installation/upgradesEffectively troubleshoots user problems with application software and hardwarePrimarily focuses on Level I - II (user, technician) applications supportPrepares systems documentation; communicate issues back to level II, IT management vendor support personnel and end usersIdentifies “quick fix” requirements to the Supervisor, utilizing quality assurance and application testingParticipates in the on-call rotation. On-call hours are between 12am - 8am. May be requested to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties subject to all applicable state and federal lawsOther duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderA+ Certification- preferredA thorough understanding of Software Applications and professional business processesAbility to think logically and troubleshoot technical issues from discovery to root causeExcellent written and oral communication skills; Should be able to describe and present business ideas and concepts in a clear, concise and understandable manner to technical and non-technical individualsMust have a passionate commitment for extraordinary levels of service quality and customer satisfactionWilling to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES Complaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
