IT Systems Analyst

About the role

In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support and enhance Digital Products and enterprise systems that drive operational excellence. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your analytical skills and curiosity will help shape the future of Vermeer’s digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and Digital Product teams to capture business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Assist in mapping business processes and data flows using standard tools; identify basic inefficiencies and propose improvements under guidance.
• Investigate and resolve routine system issues; escalate complex problems with detailed documentation to senior team members.
• Support system configuration changes and participate in functional testing to ensure solutions meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations and updates in alignment with established security, architecture, and governance guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems or related field with one year of relevant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education.
• Foundational knowledge of system design principles, data structures, and integration concepts.
• Ability to use process mapping and documentation tools effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected for this position.

Work Location

This role is primarily remote; day-to-day work may be completed from a location other than a Vermeer campus. There will be instances where on-site work at a Vermeer campus is required. Remote team members are eligible for business-related reimbursements per the work location policy.
