IT Systems Analyst
About the role
LBM Advantage, one of the nation's largest buying cooperatives in the lumber and building materials industry, is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join our growing technology team. This role supports day-to-day business applications and ERP operations while contributing to long-term system modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve ERP and business application issues
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries
- Support reporting, data validation, and data integrity activities
- Administer business applications, workflows, forms, and user access
- Document business processes, procedures, and system configurations
- Gather requirements and support process improvement initiatives
- Auxiliary support for software implementations, enhancements, and modernization projects
- Participate in testing, user acceptance testing, and solution validation
- Support EDI processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Occasional end-user support, device deployment, and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–4 years of professional technology experience
- Ability to create, read, modify, and troubleshoot basic SQL queries
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Ability to learn new business systems and technologies quickly
- Desire to build a long-term career supporting and implementing business technology solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting an ERP system
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users
- Familiarity with software development concepts, methodologies, or delivery processes
- Experience participating in software implementation, enhancement, or modernization projects
- Experience administering forms, workflows, or low-code platforms (Jotform experience is a plus)
- Experience in IT operations support or software development
- Exposure to Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position is based onsite in New Windsor, NY and is expected to work from the office five days per week. Occasional travel to other company office locations may be required; however, routine business travel is not expected. The ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds is required. May occasionally be required to assist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, technology support for meetings and events, and other hands-on IT activities. Occasional evening or off-hours work may be necessary to support system upgrades, maintenance activities, implementations, or business-critical issues. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.
Pay Range
In New York, the compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
