IT System Support Engineer

Requirements About Us: Sightpath Medical is the premier cataract and LASIK mobile services provider in the U.S. We have an opening at our headquarters in Bloomington, MN for an IT Systems Support Engineer in our IT Department. Responsibilities: Tier 1 Helpdesk supportAssist users either via phone, email or Datto Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) to resolve any issuesProperly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resourcesPrioritize and manage several open issues at one timeMaintain user administration in all systems including RingCentral, Jamf, Active Directory (on-prem), and Microsoft Office 365Local backup maintenance and testingMaintain Antivirus at all locationsLocal & remote hardware support / troubleshooting and network maintenancePhone system maintenance / configurationMobile Device Management (MDM) via JamfDocument technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals Requirements: Proven work experience as a Systems Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar roleHands-on experience with Windows OS and IOS devicesAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issuesFamiliarity with On-premises Active Directory, remote management tools, Veeam/Datto Backup Software, VMWare, RingCentral, and Jamf are a plusExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to provide clear step-by-step technical guidance, both written and verbalBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experienceAdditional certification in Microsoft, VMware or similar technologies is a plus We offer competitive salaries and full benefits for this job which includes but not limited to the following: Medical insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Fully Paid STD/LTD Insurance Fully Paid 2x Basic life Insurance 401k with excellent company match Paid Vacation Sightpath is an equal opportunity employer.
