Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced motivated IT Support Technician to join our IT team. This individual will serve as our in-house IT point of contact and be responsible for maintaining the company’s computer and network systems as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks and assisting employees with IT-related problems. This position is onsite at our Clarksville, TN facility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for IT support within the organization
  • Install and providing technical support for software applications and operating systems.
  • Able to perform network backups and coordinate disaster recovery efforts.
  • Able to plan, organize and track projects.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues and repair or replace damaged computer and network components.
  • Able to read, understand and comply with the department’s policies, procedures, guidelines and practices relating to network and security standards.
  • Able to develop and maintain technical documentation for supported systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support employees whenever they encounter issues with computers and network devices.
  • Maintain and update computer and network equipment in order to track warranty, upgrades and replacement devices.
  • Help ensure all applicable employees are issued the correct and/or standard computer equipment in a timely manner.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges effectively
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with other departments and external partners
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety in all maintenance activities.

Education Requirements

A high school diploma or GED (required). One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in an I.T.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Assistance is required for anything over 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders, walk long distances, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, push and pull heavy objects
  • Able to be on call as needed
  • Able to climb heights and ladders when needed
  • Required to reach or grip with arms and hands
  • Work in uncontrolled environments hot and cold
