About the role
The IT Support Apprentice provides first-level support for technology systems throughout the organization. This role assists with help desk requests, hardware maintenance, system updates, inventory management, and technology projects while pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field of technology.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an initial point of contact for IT support requests and assist users with technology-related issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, and other issues.
- Aid with end-user system updates, software installations, and workstation configuration.
- Conduct hardware inspections and perform routine physical maintenance of computers, displays, printers, and related equipment.
- Support inventory management by tracking technology assets, equipment assignments, and hardware lifecycle activities.
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of display technologies and equipment.
- Provide additional coverage for IT support activities during peak workloads, vacations, or special projects.
- Participate in cross-functional, international project teams and contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Document support activities, issues, and resolutions to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with apprentices at other STOBER locations around the world.
- Update and maintain Anny scheduling software and devices.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Currently pursuing or willing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in:
- Cybersecurity
- Computer Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Related technology field
- Preferred Knowledge & Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and general business technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.

Benefits
