IT Support Specialist- Arlington, VA

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will be the single point of contact for information and problem resolution, improving the productivity of CoStar Group employees. You will diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, third-party and proprietary software, LANs, and servers through telephone, email, remote tools, and hands-on support. This position requires excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple urgent projects. This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on client questions, problems, or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware, and software.
• Participate in telephone support rotation, assisting users across the U.S. via remote tools.
• Document problems and solutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
• Inform management of potential problems and identify problem trends.
• Create and maintain computer images.
• Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and hard drives.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
• Provide videoconference administration and support.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate IT or Service Desk role.
• Experience implementing TCP/IP at the workstation level.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 workstations, Macs, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, remote tools, and Windows File Permissions.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications

• O365 Administration experience.
• Experience supporting laptop/mobile devices such as Dell/Surface Books, Macs, iPads, and iPhones.

Pay

Base compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually.
