Responsibilities
The IT Supervisor is responsible for the health, security, and continuous improvement of the plant’s entire digital ecosystem. This role ensures up to 100% uptime for production-critical systems—including AOI, MES, and Full Traceability—while supporting both corporate office operations (OA, SAP, etc.) and the assembly floor. Serving as the primary guardian of data integrity, this position bridges the gap between hardware, software, network infrastructure, and physical production equipment.
Infrastructure, Networking & Information Security
- Oversee the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ensure up to 100% data logging for part traceability, aligning with strict automotive safety standards.
- Support Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems and in-house developed equipment, ensuring seamless communication between physical production tools and the central database.
- Serve as the primary guardian of data integrity, this position bridges the gap between hardware, software, network infrastructure, and physical production equipment.
Facilities Security & Office Automation (OA)
- Plan, map, and maintain the company's network architecture (including drawing network topology diagrams and guiding the construction of low-voltage/weak-current systems).
- Ensure robust, plant-wide Wi-Fi and hardwired connectivity to support handheld scanners, tablets, and PLC communications.
- Maintain daily monitoring and 24/7 data retention for facility security systems, including CCTV cameras, video conferencing, and entrance guard/access control systems.
- Lead helpdesk support for Office Automation (OA) systems, including corporate email, telephone systems, document management, WeChat, WeCom, and other collaboration tools.
Vendor, Asset & Data Management
- Manage relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and support contracts with ISPs, software providers, and hardware vendors.

- Oversee the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ensure up to 100% data logging for part traceability, aligning with strict automotive safety standards.
- Shop Floor Integration
- Support Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems and in-house developed equipment, ensuring seamless communication between physical production tools and the central database.
- ERP Management
- Support and manage the local instance of SAP, ensuring modules for inventory, production, and shipping are synchronized, functional, and fully optimized.
- Network Architecture
- Plan, map, and maintain the company's network architecture (including drawing network topology diagrams and guiding the construction of low-voltage/weak-current systems).
- Connectivity
- Ensure robust, plant-wide Wi-Fi and hardwired connectivity to support handheld scanners, tablets, and PLC communications.
- Server & Hardware Health
- Maintain physical and virtual server environments, ensuring proper cooling, power redundancy, and hardware health.
- Security & Continuity
- Implement rigorous data backup protocols, disaster recovery plans, and network security measures to mitigate the risk of ransomware or data loss.
- Access & Surveillance
- Manage daily monitoring and 24/7 data retention for facility security systems, including CCTV cameras, video conferencing, and entrance guard/access control systems.
- Collaboration Tools
- Lead helpdesk support for Office Automation (OA) systems, including corporate email, telephone systems, document management, WeChat, WeCom, and other collaboration tools.
- End-User Support
- Oversee the setup, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop computer hardware and software to ensure uninterrupted daily office operations.
- Asset Management
- Maintain strict inventory control and licensing management for all IT hardware, software, and corporate computer assets.
- Reporting
- Generate, automate, and analyze production reports, downtime logs, and quality metrics to support leadership decision-making.
- Vendor Relations
- Manage relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and support contracts with ISPs, software providers, and hardware vendors.
Qualifications
- Several Years of SAP support experience.
- Must be comfortable working on an active manufacturing/assembly floor, which may require standing, walking across the plant, and working around machinery.
- Flexibility to occasionally support off-hours, on-call maintenance windows, or emergencies to ensure continuous plant operations.
