About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) to support a variety of business-critical initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing and technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Lead blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions
• Configure SAP SD and MM modules to support business processes and project objectives
• Create functional specifications and coordinate with technical development teams as needed
• Support SAP-based analytics and reporting initiatives by translating business requirements into functional solutions
• Oversee solution development and validation to ensure business requirements are met
• Develop and execute functional testing strategies, test scripts, and user acceptance testing support
• Troubleshoot process and system issues across SD and MM areas
• Support multiple simultaneous projects and enhancement efforts
• Present recommendations and project updates to business and technology stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined SAP SD and MM functional consulting experience
• Hands-on configuration experience within both SAP SD and SAP MM
• Proven experience leading blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and requirements gathering activities
• Experience supporting end-to-end SAP implementations, enhancements, and business transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with SAP-based analytics or reporting projects
• Strong understanding of translating business reporting requirements into functional specifications
• Ability to oversee analytics solution delivery and validation efforts
• Strong business-facing communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Experience working directly with U.S.-based stakeholders and project teams
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience within manufacturing, high-tech, or industrial organizations
• Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
• Experience supporting complex supply chain, order management, procurement, or inventory processes
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements

This is not an architecture, development, or support-only position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and can manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight.
