About the role
The ITS Service Desk is the primary support point for students, faculty, staff, and constituents of the University when it comes to technologies provided by ITS. This position ensures that ITS support and service requests are managed effectively by ITS service providers and their staff.
Responsibilities
- Helps process service requests and incidents through a CRM tool.
- Coordinates installation and configuration changes for various ITS services including networking, access/security systems, telephone systems, and data lines/circuits.
- Ensures data integrity and quality control for order processing, billing accuracy, and customer follow-up.
- Generates and analyzes management reports to support all functions.
- Makes recommendations and coordinates additions, changes, and enhancements based on customer feedback.
- Works collaboratively with external vendors and campus departments to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
- May require driving a university vehicle during working hours.
- Acts as a team leader or member on special projects to enhance ITS products and services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with four years of relevant experience.
- A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with CRM systems and AiM Work Order Management is preferred.
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills are highly valued.
