IT Security & Support specialist
About the role
The client is seeking an experienced IT Contractor with a minimum of 2 years' experience performing technical work in information technology security and support fields. This is a cross-team position to fulfill duties within our security and help desk teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide general technology support
- Respond to and implement support tickets
- Aid in documenting and managing incidents and vulnerabilities
- Perform network monitoring and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies
Requirements
- 2 yrs experience in information security related support
- 2 yrs experience in helpdesk related support
- Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft O365 products
- Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems
- Experience with network and computer security testing tools
- Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports
- Experience working with Tenable and Splunk
Skills
- Associate's degree or current certifications within information technology
