IT Project Manager IV

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the FareWorks project in the Revenue Management space.
• Oversee application development and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage multimillion-dollar budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Build strong presentations and report project status to senior leadership and working teams.
• Triage issues and risks, ensuring timely resolution.
• Cook up daily activities of the development team and ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct system audits and verify application results.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction.
• Proficiency in MS Project and experience managing large-scale budgets.
• Strong ability to work independently and lead project teams.
• Experience working with senior leadership and delivering high-quality presentations.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Hybrid work capability, with the ability to work on-site 1-2 times per week in the Chicagoland area.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MS Project, resource management, and the ability to build compelling presentations. This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional on-site presence in the Chicagoland area.
